Ruth Pearson

Pearson, Ruth P. (Savickas), 67, of Mapleville, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Stuart D. Pearson.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Molis) Savickas.

Ruth was a secretary for the Burrillville School System for many years before retiring. She was a diehard New England sports fan, loved to travel to Disney, and loved the ocean.  Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Heather Farrell and her husband Russell of Harrisville, her son, Matthew Pearson and his wife Amy of Foster, four grandsons, Bradey and Mitchell Farrell and Conor and Cian Pearson. She also leaves her brothers Raymond Savickas of Cumberland and Russell Savickas of Providence, and her sister, Rita Woodcock of Coventry.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass Christian Burial Friday, May 13th at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, 1063 Victory Hwy, Mapleville, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
