Roselyn Cormier

Cormier, Roselyn T. (Hague), 95, of North Providence, died on January 29, 2022 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center.  She was the wife of the late Francis H. Cormier.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luke and Elizabeth (McCaughey) Hague.

Roselyn was a registered nurse for many years at Miriam Hospital before retiring.

She is survived by five children, Mary E. Burke (James) of North Providence, Jane F. Cormier of North Scituate, Steven Cormier (Linda O’Shea) of Chepachet, James Cormier of North Smithfield, and Andrew Cormier (Susan) of Providence.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jean Cormier, her sister, Elizabeth Wilkes, 12 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Daniel Cormier and sister of the late Joseph Hague and Mary Fennessy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th from 8:15-9:15 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence.  Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow St., Providence, RI 02903.
