Obituary

Robert E. D’Aquila, 70, of Johnston, died unexpectedly on April 13, 2023 at his home.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rocco and Mary D. (Conaty) D’Aquila. 

He is survived by his sister, Cheryl M. Buote of Johnston, his nephew, David Buote, Jr., two nieces, Kerren Buote and Kristen Pistocco, and great-nieces and nephews, Tyler Buote, Shannon and Ryan Pistocco.  He also is survived by his aunt, Sarah DiSano, with whom he lived for many years and was like a mother to him, and many cousins.  He also leaves his companion, Robin Bates.

Robert was a pipe insulator for many years before retiring.  He loved to go salt water fishing and being with his friends a JJ’s Coliseum in Johnston.  He also loved to play pool and play cards.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26th at 10:45 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Visitation will begin at 9 am.  Burial will be private.
