Patricia Hawk

Hawk, Patricia A. (McDermott), 87, died on June 17, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of Edward D. Hawk.  Born in Providence, she was one of fourteen children of the late William and Alice (Page) McDermott.

Patricia was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Arthur Hawk and his companion Brenda Carignan of Pascoag and Katherine Gouin and her husband Christopher of Foster, five grandchildren, Sabrina Hawk, Deanna Bulpitt, Samantha Gouin and her fiancé Daniel Downey, Georgianna Gouin and her fiancé Zane Abdelmeged, and Christopher Gouin, Jr.  She is also survived by her brother, Thomas McDermott of W. Warwick and her sister, Joan McDermott of Davis, CA.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence.  Burial is private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org
