Eugenie "Jean" Derosier

Derosier, Eugenie (Jean), 107, died November 26, 2021 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Derosier. Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosealda (Gariepy) L’Heureux.

Jean was employed by the Worcester Textile Co. of Greystone for 33 years retiring in 1979.

She was the mother of Gerard J. Derosier and his wife Marie of Esmond and the late Lucille V. Dunbar and mother-in-law of William Dunbar.  She also leaves eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 8:15-9:15 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
