Giessler, Denise A. (Newton), 67, of Greenville, died on January 12, 2019 at her son’s home in Arizona while visiting her beloved grandchildren.    She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Giessler.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Rubin) Newton.

She is survived by two children, Brian Giessler and wife Courtney and Amanda Giessler, two grandchildren, Preston and Connor, two sisters, Linda Moyers and Marion Young, and a brother, William Newton.

A loving wife and mother, after her retirement in 2017, she spent all of her time with her family, friends, and especially her two cherished grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, Putnam Pike, Greenville.  Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling Hours Tuesday 4-7pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jay Lawrence Foundation, PO Box 580, Greenville, RI 02828.
