Yvonne L. Rankl (Ouellette), 98, of Johnston, formerly of North Providence, died peacefully at home on March 23, 2026.  She was the wife of the late Albert Rankl.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ida (Saucier) Ouellette.

Yvonne had worked as an inspector for the former Mine Safety Appliances for 20 years before retiring.  She was also known for her amazing cake decorating and was a cake decorating instructor.  

Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was the most special, caring and giving person and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Dianne Marcotte, her son, John Rankl, and her granddaughters, Andrea Marcotte (Stephan Califano) and Erica Marcotte (Christopher Leonard).  She was predeceased by her son, Albert Rankl, and her brother, Richard Ouellette.

Services and burial in St. Francis Cemetery will be respectfully private.
