William Rigby

Rigby, William K., 91, of North Providence, died September 2, 2016. He was the husband of the late Alice E. (Walker) Rigby. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harold and Ivy (Vincent) Rigby.

William worked for Worcester Textile for 17 years and Faustina Fabric for 10 years, retiring in 1973. He served in the RI National Guard.

He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Rigby of North Providence, Denise Gervelis of Coventry, and Patricia Squadrito of Warwick, seven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Alice Devries and Karen Wagner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 am with a service at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
