William Dunbar Jr.

William E. (Bill) Dunbar Jr. passed away Thursday November 16th at the Heritage Hills Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was 86 years old.  He was the husband of the late Lucille (Derosier) Dunbar.  Bill was an Army Reserve veteran,  coached hockey for many years for the town of North Providence and was an avid golfer.  He was a man who loved his family above all else.

The son of the late William E. Dunbar Sr and Cora (Poudrier) Dunbar.  He is survived by 4 children.  Mary Harnois of Rehoboth, Paula Soares of North Providence, David Dunbar Sr (Cindy) of Pawtucket, Peter (Tracy) Dunbar of Ohio. He was pre-deceased by daughter his Billie S. Berube and son Gregory Dunbar.

He was Pepere to 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, brother to Lynda (Dunbar) Caldarone of FL and the late Steven Dunbar and Uncle Bill to several nieces and nephews, as well as  a great friend to many.

Bill left a special message to everyone:

 "Love you all!!  Son, Brother, Dad, Pepere, Uncle, Cousin, Friend. Who ever the hell I was to you!  Thank you, Bill"
