Daglieri, Virginia A. “Ginger”, 77, of Estero, Florida, formerly of Rhode Island, died November 16, 2018 at home. She was the wife of Dean J. Daglieri for 44 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Rattenni, MD and the late Angeline (Grazioso) Rattenni.
Ginger was a special education teacher in the Woonsocket School Department for 28 years before retiring. She was a member of the American Federation of Teachers. She graduated from Newton College of the Sacred Heart in Newton, MA, receiving her master’s degree from Rhode Island College.
Ginger enjoyed traveling, and had a generous spirit. She supported the Maryknoll Fathers, the American Indian Museum, and the Native American Children’s Fund.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter and son-in-law in South Carolina, two grandchildren in South Carolina, and two grandchildren in Texas.
Her funeral mass and burial were held Tuesday, November 27, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
