Victoria Duffy

Duffy, Victoria J., passed away May 9, 2011 at Greenville Health Center. She celebrated her 83rd birthday on May 3rd. She was the wife of the late Edward Duffy. Born in Providence, she was daughter to the late Pierino and Hilda Schiavio and sister of Rosemary Cunningham of Ipswich, MA and the late Gloria Lenk, Gigina Porcelli and Mary Politelli.

Victoria was a much loved mother to her three daughters, Valorie Meleo and husband Anthony, Audrey Snow and husband Stephen, Mary Bolton, and her favorite son, Edward Duffy and wife Patricia. She leaves five treasured grandchildren, Ashley and Edward Duffy, Christopher Meleo, and Sarah and Emily Bolton. She had close friendships with Celeste Costa, her nephew, Vincent Politelli, and her cousins in Bangor, ME. Vicki will always be remember for her well-stocked cookie jar, her selfless nature, and her devotion to her family.

All are invited to celebrate her life with us in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence on Thursday 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday at 9 am in the funeral home. Burial will be with her husband at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
