Susan Decker

Decker, Susan M.(Loughrey),67, of Smithfield, died December 23, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of James D. Decker. Born in Fulton, NY, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Harriet (Glasford) Loughrey.

Susan retired from the Blackstone-Millville School District as a reading teacher in 2009.

Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Angela Januario and Patrick Decker, four grandchildren, a brother, Darryl Loughrey, and a sister, Nancy Cooper.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Sunday 4-7 pm.
