Levesque, Sadie A. (DiFilippo), 94, formerly of Brook Village, North Providence, died peacefully on September 17, 2017 at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late W. Thomas Levesque. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Alesandrina (Pracario) DiFilippo.

Sadie had worked for Worcester Textile and Brown & Sharpe before retiring. She was an active member of the Salvatore Mancini Center and enjoyed playing bingo. Most of all, she was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sadie is survived by her daughter, Paula A. Monson and her husband Arnie of East Providence, four grandchildren, Michelle P. Butler and her husband Daniel, Aubrey T. Olney, John T. Gaskell, and Brandon P. Olney, five great-grandchildren, her sister, Carmella Pacheco, and her son-in-law, John D. Gaskell. She was the mother of the late Patricia M. Gaskell and sister of the late Nicholas DiFilippo, Emma Cenci, Clement DiFilippo, Sophie Penta, Rudolph and Arthur DiFilippo.

Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30-10:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
