Roy Carlson

Carlson, Roy E., 80, of Smithfield, died on June 5, 2019 at the VA Medical Center.  He was the husband of the late Marilyn C. (Kirker) Carlson.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carl and Ruth (Ohsberg) Carlson.

He is survived by two children, David Carlson and Kathleen Bartlett, five grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of the late Carl and Arthur Carlson.

Committal prayers followed by military honors will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Exeter.  The funeral procession will line up at the Administration Building at 12:15 pm.
