Rose Davis

Rose T. Davis, 94, of Smithfield, formerly of Johnston, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Heritage Hills Nursing Home.

She was born in Smithfield, Rhode Island to the late Winthrop E. and Lumina R. (Plante) Davis.

Rose worked as an Operator and Line Assigner for the New England Telephone Company for forty-one years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, The Telephone Bowling League and enjoyed golfing and traveling.

She leaves many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian MacMillan, Earl Davis and Irene Kocon.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11:00 AM in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.  The Mass will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/stmichaelsmithfield
