Robert Fleming, Jr.

November 18, 1975 — March 19, 2026

Johnston

Robert Fleming, Jr., whose presence truly lit up every room he entered, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2026. Born on November 18, 1975, in Providence, Robert was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his infectious spirit, boundless love, and lighthearted pranks.

Known for his joyful personality and heart full of love, Robert had a unique gift—he made everyone rich in his love. His playful nature brought laughter and warmth to his family and community. He embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in simple pleasures such as karaoke, singing, and dancing. Robert had a particular fondness for pizza and root beer, and he especially loved holding babies, cherishing the opportunity to connect with new life and innocence. His deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors revealed his soulful side, often spending time in natural surroundings. Above all, Robert treasured moments spent with family, the cornerstone of his happiness.

One of Robert’s proudest accomplishments was being a Special Olympian, a testament to his determination, courage, and the inspiring spirit he carried throughout his life. This achievement was not only a personal triumph but also an expression of his unwavering commitment and resilience.

Robert is survived by those who loved him dearly: his devoted parents, Deborah (Austin) Fleming and Robert A. Fleming, Sr.; and his sisters, Sherry Halton, Melissa Bourque, and Jennifer Michaud (Michael, Jr.). He also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews and thirteen great-nieces and nephews, with one on the way.  He will be sincerely missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well.

Though Robert’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit and the warmth of his love continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends. His laughter, his kindness, and the light he brought into the world remain enduring gifts to all who were fortunate to know him.
