Robert Aust

Aust, Robert Greenwood, Sr., of Johnston, passed away on Monday March 9th. Son of the late Frederick Kenneth Aust and Annis (Greenwood) Aust. Leaving behind his beloved wife of forty-three years Evelyn (Liberty) Aust, son Robert Greenwood Aust, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Johnston, and daughter Jennifer (Aust) Tobias and her husband Matthew of Chandler, AZ, five grandchildren Kenneth, Alexander, and Abbigail Aust and Maxwell and Jacob Tobias. Brother of Stephen Kenneth Aust of Chepachet.

After serving honorably in the United States Navy, he worked for Bryant University for forty-three years. Bob loved spending time with his family and was an avid history buff who loved his tools and woodworking.

His funeral will be held Friday at 1PM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by an interment service with military honors at 2PM in the Highland Memorial Park Chapel. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 PM.
