Robert R. Angeloni, Jr., 54, of Johnston, passed away on October 18, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Barbara (Corrente) Angeloni and Robert R. Angeloni, Sr.
He began his career as a mechanic while still in high school, building a lifelong career in the automotive industry. Throughout the years, he worked at several establishments, including Electra Tune, Flood Ford, and Hurd. For the last 15 years, Rob worked at Tasca Ford in Cranston, where he became the dealership’s first fleet mechanic, helping grow and develop the facility into a 45-bay operation. He later became Tasca Service’s first Fleet Advisor, overseeing the dealership’s largest fleet account.
He loved his RC cars and planes, riding motorcycles, spending time at the range, and making memories with his friends. He enjoyed a good party, gathering around a campfire, music, and sharing laughs and good times with the people he loved. Above all, Rob lived life his own way and cherished the friendships and moments that made life memorable.
He is survived by his stepson Devin, brother Scott, sister Bethany, sister-in-law Rachele and nephews Wyatt and Bryce.
Robert's life will be celebrated with visitation on Monday, October 26, from 5-8 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 pm. Burial will be private.
