Richard A. Grossi, Jr., 56, of North Providence, died on February 13, 2024 at Roger Williams Medical Center after an 18-month battle with cancer.   

Richard had worked as a distribution clerk for Roger Williams Medical Center since 2018.  He had previously worked in the same capacity for Benny’s Warehouse for 32 years, where he continued his many friendships with his co-workers.

Among Richard’s many hobbies, he loved to cook, making homemade bread and antipasto.  He also enjoyed his boat, as he was an avid fisherman. 

   Most of all, Richard loved to be with others, socializing and being there with a helping hand to whomever needed it.

Richard is survived by his wife, Terriann (Ricci) Grossi, his mother, Cynthia (Iozzi) Aynes and her husband, Herman, his father, Richard A. Grossi, Sr., his brother, Philip Grossi, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Robert Grossi.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the RWMC (Roger Williams Medical Center), especially Jayme, for all of their support.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2023 from 1-3 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Funeral services and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
