Richard Andrade

Andrade, Richard, 63, of North Providence, died March 11, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital after a lifelong battle with diabetes. He was the husband of Anne M. (Lefebvre) Andrade for 37 years. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Jesse and Elsie (Pereira) Andrade.

A hard worker, Richard worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Providence for 26 years and also was a night manager at Murphy's Liquors. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, Richard always put his family first.

Besides his wife, he leaves three children: David Andrade and his wife Alexsis of North Providence, Christine A. Poland and her husband William of Johnston, John M. Andrade of North Providence; four grandchildren: Alexia Peloquin, William Poland III, Jenna Poland, and Kaiden Andrade; and two brothers: Raymond Andrade and his wife Denise of Assonet and Robert Andrade of Fall River.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
