Rhea Richard

Richard, Rhea Y. (Simard), 95, of North Providence, a homemaker, died November 20, 2015. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Richard for 48 years before his passing. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Alvera (Lamontagne) Simard.

Rhea is survived by six children, June Hochberg and her husband Gary, Alan Richard and his wife Linda, Gary Richard and his companion Darsie Torda, Renee Richard, Lori Richard and Audrey Ricci, thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Jacqueline Forand, and two half-sisters, Jean Covel and Dina Mello. She was the sister of the late Henry Joseph Simard and half-sister of the late Oscar Lamontagne.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Monday 4-7 pm.
