DeFond, Raymond L., 84, died January 6, 2011 at Cortland Place Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Florette (Bergeron) DeFond. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was a son of the late Joseph and Juliene (Pepin) DeFond.
He is survived by two sons, Maurice Stephens of Jacksonville, FL, and Bertrand Stephens of Woodstock, GA, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, two brothers, Conrad DeFond of Woonsocket and Leo DeFond of Florida, and a sister Claire Lemire of Bellingham, MA. He was brother of the late Paul, Marcel and Rene DeFond.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 am in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville, followed by Military Honors. For online condolences visit www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
