Peter DiLullo Jr., 88, died peacefully on June 13th, 2025 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice, deeply loved and well cared for. Peter was born in Providence RI, son of the late Peter and Mafalda (Norcini) DiLullo. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years and mother of their three devoted sons, Carol (Scott) DiLullo, brother Richard DiLullo and sister Lucy Washburn. Peter is survived by sons Peter J. DiLullo and his wife Marie C. Case, Todd M. DiLullo and Eric J. DiLullo, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters Genevieve Leo, Virginia DiLullo and brother David DiLullo. Peter was fortunate to find a second love later in life and is also survived by his caring wife Jenny (Tran) DiLullo.
Peter served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. He worked in management at Madison Industries / Sandvik Group for several decades, and after “retirement” worked at Leader Uniforms for nearly 25 years where he was beloved by the many men and women in uniform he served. Always a man of action who believed in hard work, Peter often held second jobs to provide benefits and opportunities for his family. Peter fully enjoyed life, spending leisure time with family and an abundance of friends. Always up for a challenge, he was a canny competitor in cards, bocce, Jarts, golf and at the casino. He passed along his trademark wisdom “Don’t Play Scared” to lucky partners and opponents alike. Peter also loved working in the yard and the garden - his tomatoes were legendary.
As Peter often noted, he outlived the “Tape Measure of His Life” and “Played With House Money” over his final years. He will be profoundly missed.
