Paulette Pike, 73, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Edith (Feuti) and Joseph Franco. Paulette is survived by her devoted sons, Stephen (Joanna) Pike and Bryan Pike, grandchildren Camden, Groove, Banyan Kehr Pike, and Kara (Matthew) Irvin, as well as her five great-granddaughters. Growing up in Johnston, RI, Paulette was the older sister of Michael (Lisa) Franco and Joseph (Catheryn) Franco. She was also the beloved aunt to Jillian and Joseph Franco, Melissa (Timothy) Silver, and Michael (Nicole) Franco. Paulette was preceded in death by her companion Crecenzo Conti.
A longtime resident of Smithfield, Paulette raised her sons with their father, Stephen Pike, Sr. while working at Almacs. Later in life, she discovered her true talent as a Home Health Aide. For all who knew her, Paulette was one-of-a-kind. Her wit and sense of humor were boundless. She loved being outdoors, especially at the beach. You would often see her out and about with her dog, Sasha, whom she adopted eight years ago as a rescue animal. Paulette will be remembered for her infectious laugh and spirited banter.
Services for Paulette will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904 (www.hopehealthco.org)
