Oreste Parrillo

Parrillo, Oreste J. Jr., 67, of Rockland Rd., died peacefully on December 16, 2009 with his family and friends by his side. He was the husband of Joann (Furtado) Parrillo. Born in Providence, he was a son of Angelina (DeSimone) Parrillo of Johnston and the late Oreste J. Parrillo, Sr.

Oreste worked for the former Scuncio Chevrolet and Hurd Chevrolet before retiring in 1992.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three children, John O. Parrillo of Smithfield, Sherri A. Briggs and her husband Greg of Smithfield, Anthony O. Parrillo of Johnston, four grandchildren, Jenna D. Parrillo, Joseph R. Parrillo, John O. Parrillo Jr., and David O. Parrillo, a great-grandson, Angel J. Ruiz, and three siblings, Dalores D'Agostino, Elaine Morin, and Daniel O. Parrillo, all of Johnston.

Calling hours Friday 6-8 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Funeral mass and burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
