Olga Briggs

Briggs, Olga C. (Rea), 93, formerly of Smithfield, died June 7, 2018 at Westbury Medical Care Home, Jackson, GA. She was the wife of the late Irving W. Briggs. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Concetta (Bruni) Rea.

Olga was a longtime communicant of St. Michael Church in Smithfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Royer of Hampton, GA, two grandchildren, Melanie Durham and Jeremy Royer, both of Locust Grove, GA, and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elvira Ricci and Anna Pickett.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
