Nicholas Michael Anthony Malz, well know as Birdie, had a gift for seeing what a person needed and finding it for them. Born September 13, 1983 in Phoenix, Arizona and left this world March 29, 2026 in Providence, Rhode Island leaving behind a legacy measured not in grand gestures but in the countless small moments when people needed someone to lean on.
Nicholas is survived by his son Murdoch, mother Deanne and family. As well as a huge community of friends whose lives he touched deeply.
One Life One Chance.
A celebration of life will be held at Alchemy, 171 Chestnut St. Providence RI 02903 on April 12th 2026. Calling hours at 2pm, Service at 5pm
Per request of his son, please wear your best Dixxon/punk/metal/hardcore/show clothes.
