Mollie Cornachione

Cornachione, Mollie P. (Iannozzi), 94, of North Providence, died April 28, 2017 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of Marco Cornachione. They had just celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on April 22nd. Born in Providence, Mollie was a daughter of the late Raffaele and Carmella (Conalongo) Iannozzi.

Mollie retired from the Providence School Department 32 years ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Joyce Cunha and late husband Richard and Michael Cornachione and his wife Paola, four grandchildren, Bobby Prando, Robin Cooney, David Prando, and Mark Cunha, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eight siblings.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 8-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
