Maurice Riquier

Riquier, Maurice O., 78, a retired chef and US Navy veteran, died April 30, 2016 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of Joan (Paterson) Riquier. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Leo and Rita (Bourassa) Riquier.

Maurice loved fishing as well as spending time with family and friends.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and their wives, William Ronald Riquier and his wife Claire and Ronald "Scott" Riquier and his wife Robin, all of Burrillville, a grandson, Steven R. Riquier of Warren, five siblings, Roger Riquier of Pembrook, ME, Muriel Parker of Ocala, FL, Pauline Allard of Burrillville, Suzanne Gouin and Rachel Pouliot, both of Woonsocket, and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Wednesday 4-7 pm.
