Bell, Mary I. (Devlin), 93, died Sunday July 5, 2015 at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Alvin F. Bell. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Downey) Devlin.

Mary was active in the Mineral Spring Gardens Tennant Association. She and her late husband were active in City of Providence politics.

She is survived by her children, Meredith Nowak and her husband Edward, Susan Spagnolo, Paul Bell and his wife Karen, four grandchildren, Gregory and Kevin Nowak, Christopher and Rachel Spagnolo, and a sister Lucille Alsfeld. She was the sister of the late Sarah Osbourne, Joseph, Alice, Thomas and Virginia Devlin.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Ave. Providence. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Donations may be made to your charity of choice.
