Mark Parker

Parker, Mark S., 55, of Bend St., died June 7, 2008 at home. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Lettieri) Parker. Born in Providence, he was a son of Rudolph Dettore and the late Barbara (Inglesi) Dettore.

Mark was a machinist at Malco Saw Company for 21 years and also owned the former Parker Brothers Painting Company. He then worked as a waiter at the Alpine Country Club for three years and at Ma Glockner's Restaurant in Bellingham, MA for four years. Mark was a former resident of Florida, where he was a lifeguard.

Besides his wife and father, he leaves a son, Troy A. Lettieri and his wife, Shelly, a granddaughter, Paige Lettieri, and three step-grandchildren, Zachary Wayne Price, Mark David Harrington Jr., and Savanah Raine Lettieri. He was brother of the late Shane Parker.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
