Mario Laposta

LaPosta, Mario A., 85, of Narragansett, formerly of Johnston, died April 22, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine (Macaruso) LaPosta. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Morsilli) LaPosta.

Mario was the owner of M.L. Builders for over 40 years.

Mario is survived by his wife and his daughter, Maria LaPosta of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Florence Greene.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
