Marilyn A. Grange "Mal", passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 91 at Roger Williams Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on March 13, 1934, in Bellows Falls, VT, to the late Raymond and Doris (Collins) Upham.
Marilyn was a proud graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1953. Throughout her professional life, she dedicated her time and talents to working for New England Telephone and later for Benny's. Her commitment to excellence and her warm personality made her well-loved among her colleagues and friends.
A self-proclaimed people person and social butterfly, Marilyn's bubbly personality (as well as trademark pink lipstick) shone brightly in every setting. Active and artistic, she expressed her creativity through oil painting, ceramics, and adult coloring books. She enjoyed traveling and exploring New England landmarks and beaches, always seeking new adventures.. She also loved playing cards and games.
For forty years, Marilyn was a resident of North Providence before moving to The Willow Assisted Living in Warren two years ago. She was an avid participant at the North Providence Senior Center, where she contributed her enthusiasm and talents to various activities, including the Cabaret. She also served as the former secretary for the Maple Gardens Association, where she lived for many years.
Marilyn was deeply devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving daughter Kelley Seguin and daughter-in-law Dawn Stack. Her legacy continues through her grandsons Paul Stack (Casey), Joshua Stack, and Jacob Stack (Brittany), along with her cherished great-grandchildren Carter, Riley, Blair, Killian, and one more on the way.
She was predeceased by her son Perry Stack, son-in-law Bruce Seguin, and sisters Carol Provost and Diana Drywa.
Marilyn's life will be celebrated during visitation and funeral services held at Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence on August 19, 2025. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:45 PM.
