Marie E. Conte

Marie E. Conte, 74, of North Providence, passed away on September 8, 2026 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.  She was the longtime companion of Paul Greco.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Ella (Montecalvo) Conte.

Marie worked at the bakery at Stop and Shop on Branch Ave., Providence, before retiring.  She had also worked at Walgreens in Johnston.

Besides her companion, she is survived by her brother, Thomas Conte and his wife, Georgette, her sister, Joyce Scopelliti, and her nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence.
