Madeline Stackpole

Stackpole, Madeline (Muir), 95, of Columbia Ave., died May 22, 2009 at Bethany Home. She was the wife of the late Roy H. Stackpole.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Muir Sr. and Annetta (Jeffrey) Muir. She was a lifetime member of Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church.

She leaves three nieces, Christine Kershaw and Diane Miller, both of Smithfield, and Leslie Baldensperger of Warren, PA, two nephews, Gordon Annon of Austin, TX, and Robert Annon of Essex, CT, and her dear friends, Margaret Medeiros and her daughter, Kathy Palumbo. She was sister of the late Margaret Annon and Alfred Muir Jr.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Calling hours Wednesday 10-11 am. Burial in Highland Memorial Park.
