Lucy Simmons

Simmons, Lucy (Rotondo), 82, passed away on March 2, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital.  She was the wife of Thomas Simmons, Jr.  Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late John and Rita (Verdelotti) Rotondo.

Besides her husband, Lucy is survived by a daughter, Doreen Favreau, a son-in-law, Paul Bucci, a grandson, Mark Thomas Favreau, and a sister, Frances Vestri.  She was sister of the late Angelo, Joseph, George, Erminio, and Anna Rotondo.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston.  Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Grace Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
