Lucy Marwell

Marwell, Lucy E., 88, a resident of North Providence for over 60 years, passed away on January 18, 2018 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell M. Marwell, to whom she was married for 59 years. Born in West Warwick, Lucy was the daughter of the late Reginaldo and Concetta (DiCarlo) Petrocelli.

Lucy was a secretary/bookkeeper at the North Providence Boys and Girls Club for over 26 years, retiring in 1996.

She leaves her sons, David and his wife Ivette, Ricky and his wife Jeanne, her daughter, Lynn Perrino, her grandchildren, Matthew Marwell, Nicholas, Anthony and Christopher Perrino, Karla and Carl Marquez, her sister-in-law, Barbara A. Marwell, her sisters, Rose White and Teresa Carey and the late Nicola and Gerard Petrocelli, and several nieces and nephews.

Lucy’s family deeply appreciates the wonderful loving care given to Lucy by the staff of Hopkins Manor.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
