Lauren A. Haskell

Lauren A. Haskell (Spivey), 73, of Smithfield, died on November 20, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Owen Haskell and mother of the late John Haskell.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William H. Spivey and Lillian V. (Morris) Spivey-Hartley.

Lauren had an artistic spirit, devoting much of her free time to painting. She was a devout member of the Mathewson St. United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed spending time with the other parishioners. Before retirement, she had worked at the former Lynne’s Family Restaurant of North Providence.

She is survived by her loving sister, Lee Spivey, her granddaughter, Faith, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William Spivey and her sister, Lynne Dowaliby.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 8-10 am, followed by a service at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private.
