Kerri King

King, Kerri L. (Chernasky), 38, of Lincoln, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Michael J. King. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Robert P. Chernasky Sr. and Joan (Balderson) McGovern.

Kerri had a huge heart, always wanting to care for others rather than being cared for. She was fun-loving and passionate; her smile and laughter lit up a room. She also loved animals and music, but most of all, her family.

Kerri was the devoted mother of Michael J. King, Jr. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Bobby, Michelle, Jimmy, and Rhonda Raimbeault, Robert Chernasky Jr., Thomas "PJ" McGovern, Jr., Michael McGovern, Tony Chernasky, and Cyndi Jarvis.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Thursday 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
