Joanne Dibello

Joanne M. DiBello of Providence, RI, age 68, passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2018 surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anita (Gabriele) DiBello. Joanne was the founder of several community organizations and served in leadership roles in numerous community and professional organizations. She retired from the University of RI where she served for over 20 years as Director of Marketing & External Relations for the University’s Feinstein Providence Campus. She enjoyed traveling, skiing, hiking, and kayaking and especially spending time with family and friends.

Joanne leaves behind her wife of 21 years, Linda Skibski, step-daughter, Christine Skibski, sister, Joyce DiBello, niece and nephew, Carissa Anderson and Rory Koliscz, great-nephews, Jayden Moniz and Alexavier Koliscz, Aunt Dolly DiBello, 94, and many cousins. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 29th from 10 AM to 12 Noon with a funeral home service to follow at 12 Noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.
