Jeannette Arruda

Arruda, Jeannette B. (Gauthier), 90, died December 1, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late John Arruda. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Eliza (Tetreault) Gauthier.

Jeannette was a machinist for A.T. Cross in Lincoln. She enjoyed her time spent at Heritage Hills Nursing Home, participating in activities and assisting the residents.

A loving mother-in-law and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sheila A. Arruda of North Providence, and two grandchildren, Kayleigh Arruda Leach and Kenneth Arruda. She was the mother of the late Kenneth and Catherine Arruda.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
