Jones, Jean (Anderson), 72, of North Providence, formerly of Cranston, died peacefully on April 10, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late James A. Jones. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Helge and Mary (McDonald) Anderson.
Jean was a senior clerk for the City of Cranston for 17 years, retiring in 1990. She also worked in customer relations for Narragansett Electric for 10 years.
Jean leaves behind her dear cousin and best friend, Annamae Costa, her treasured dog, Jake, and many close relatives and friends.
