James Tasillo

James P. Tasillo, of North Providence, died on December 25, 2022 at his home.  He was the husband of Jean K. Tasillo.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Donato and Vincenza (Mancini) Tasillo.

Jim was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for 31 years and a member of the NALC, Branch 15.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Mary and Daniel Tasillo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9-10:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Mary, Mother of Mankind Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
