James Longo

Longo, James, 62, formerly of Johnston, died October 17, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Lori A. (O’Brien) Longo of Lakewood Ranch, FL. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Cosmo and Angela (Cardente) Longo.

James owned Jim’s Landscaping for over 40 years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin Longo of Uxbridge, MA and Steven Longo and his wife Elisa of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and two brothers, Louis Longo and his wife Sandra of Foster and David Longo of Bradenton, FL.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 am until 12 noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence followed by committal prayers at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Assn., 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
