Jacqueline Besser

Besser, Jacqueline, 80, of Layton St., a retired accountant, died October 28, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.

She was the wife of the late William W. Besser. Born in Boonton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late John W. Hall and Marion (Long) Hall. Her brother, John R.H. Hall, died in September 2006.

She spent her teenage years in Providence and moved to Scituate on marrying Mr. Besser. They lived in Scituate for 27 years before moving back to North Providence in 1977. She worked for the Peerless Company for many years before joining Field Point Enterprises. She is survived by her sister, Maureen (Hall) Brandreth of Mount Vernon, NY.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, TODAY at 1 PM in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
