Irwin Kalmer

Irwin Kalmer, 79, of Smithfield, RI, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was born to Lillian (Auskern) and Samuel Kalmer of New York City. He grew up in Stamford, CT.

He graduated from Bryant College (University) with a Master's Degree in Taxation. After graduating, Irwin remained in Smithfield, where he built his practice as a CPA. He found great joy in following his favorite sports teams.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, his two sons, Samuel and Gary, his daughter Alexis (Michael) Lamont, and grandson, Michael. He was the brother of the late Howard (Shelly) of Sebastopol, CA and is survived by his three nieces, Leith, Jocelyn, and Melissa and their families.

Services and burial were private.
