Henry M. Gervais, III, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 3, 2026. He was 87.

Henry worked as a machinist for 47 years and spent most of his career at Cumberland Engineering. Henry lived life simply, focusing most of his time being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen A. Murray and her partner, Charles; his sons, Paul M. Gervais and his wife, Donna, and Kevin A. Gervais and his husband, Matthew. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Austin, Luke, Paul Jr., John, Devante, Malayshia, and Mimi, as well as his great-grandchildren, Isabella, Jackson, and Madeline. He is also survived by his sister, Janet, and his brothers, Roger and Dan.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Theresa (Tarvis) Gervais, and by his parents, Henry and Margaret (Forget) Gervais.

Henry's services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HopeHealth Hospice or Aldersbridge Communities in East Providence .
