Gregory Desroches

Gregory Desroches, 55, of Providence, died on March 30, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Born in Providence and raised in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Roger and Joan (Elgar) Desroches.  

Greg was a loving son and brother, as well as a friend to many.  He enjoyed cooking and was devoted to his cats, Oreo and Whiskers.  He also volunteered for both the Rhode Island Organ Donor Awareness Coalition and the Moran-Ventre Charitable Foundation.

He is survived by his loving companion, Linda Harris, his sister, Darlene Desroches, his brother, Brian Desroches and his wife Ladda, his niece, Caitlyn Desroches, and his nephew, Logan Desroches.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 5-7 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a prayer service at 6:45 pm.
