Ryder, Gerald P., 74, of Coventry, RI, died January 31, 2010 at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy J. Ryder. Born in West Harwich, MA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Lillian (Watts) Ryder.
Mr. Ryder worked at various jewelry shops in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before retiring.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Brenda Galligan and her husband, Neal and Beverly Mazza and her husband, Michael, all of West Tisbury, MA, seven grandchildren, Jason, Colleen, Alexandra, Michael, Amy, Paul, and Kevin, and three step-children, Donald Lambert, Sheri Lambert and Michael Lambert and his wife Melissa.
His funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John E. Fogarty Center, 220 Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, RI 02911. www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
