George D. Bulpitt, a man whose hands told the story of hard work and dedication, has bid adieu to this mortal realm. Born on March 11, 1934, in North Providence, he filled the world with his presence until his peaceful passing at Fatima Hospital on July 28, 2024.
In his youth, George graduated from North Providence High School before venturing into his journey as a factory machinist/operator. Through the years, he donned various hats in the maintenance field, showcasing his versatility and skill.
A proud former member of the Army National Guard, George exemplified duty and service in both his professional and personal life. His commitment extended beyond work into his community, where he served as a life member of the Centredale Volunteer Fire Department – a testament to his selflessness and civic-minded spirit.
Described as a man of few words with a heart of gold, George's actions spoke louder than any speech could. Family and church were the pillars of his universe, and he upheld them with unwavering devotion throughout his days.
As he embarks on his final journey, George leaves behind cherished memories for those fortunate enough to have known him. He is survived by his sons Mark Bulpitt and Bruce Bulpitt, as well as his granddaughter Maikah Bulpitt. In the embrace of eternity await his beloved departed wife Carole (White) Bulpitt and son George Bulpitt.
The services commemorating George's rich tapestry of life will be held at Robbins Funeral Home for visitation on August 4th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. His funeral will be held on Monday, August 5th at 9 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church before proceeding to Mount St. Mary Cemetery for burial at 11:30 AM.
